The Moira Benalla Club has a rich and proud history in Benalla and surrounding districts providing for its members and guests the opportunity to socialise with each other in a building of old world charm, with quality, intimacy and class.
Moira House is a magnificent old building which is classified by the National Trust of Australia that is set in tranquil gardens and lawn surrounds. The Moira Benalla Club is a great location for weddings, conferences, corporate functions, trade displays, anniversaries, birthdays or any other social gathering as it is fully licensed and air conditioned. It offers its members the opportunity to play lawn Bowls both socially and in competition.
It also has two full size billiard tables that are used for competition as well as social games. All our facilities are available for use by any community groups, please call one of the contact numbers above to inquire.
Our Club is open to Members and their guests Wednesday from 6 pm, Friday of each week from 5.00PM.
Moira House and Bowling Green are available for hire for various functions. Our recently renovated kitchen complements the downstairs dining room that can seat approximately 60 guests.
The grand staircase leads to our upstairs function room can seat around 70 guests opening on to the large balcony providing views over the garden and across parkland to Lake Benalla. The large antique table in our Board Room creates an impressive venue for holding important meetings for your business and clients.
Outside, the recently completed pergola and decking is ideal for any function with BBQ facilities and easy access to the kitchen and Moira House. This area has fantastic views toward the lake and over the clubs Bowling Green.
So whether it be for your formal or corporate occasion through to a more relaxing time you will surely find an area of Moira House that suits your need.
